Dave, I hope you are recovering and getting settled at home. I just wanted to take a moment to thank you and tell you how much my son Brandon and I have enjoyed hunting with the team at Almost Heaven Outfitters the past two years. As you know I had gone on several hunting trips many years ago, but was not very satisfied being slotted into specific dates and being dropped at a stand where you wait until the deer walks by. After all, is this real hunting? In addition, the average guy can hardly afford most hunts today, let alone a whole season of hunting! I must admit that when i first saw your add, I was skeptical, but after we talked the first time on the phone...for almost two hours, I found your frankness about the challenges and opportunities refreshing and thought I might have actually found what i had been looking for all these years. With nearly 50 Pa. archery whitetail kills under my belt, I thought I had seen it all, until I followed you around for a couple of hours. Archery hunting mature bucks in the big woods is the ultimate challange. Having the proper attitude is the key starting ingredient. Having a great mentor like you Dave will save a man years of trial and error. And having Mike, Kenny Sanders, and the rest of the gang there to reinforce your message gave us the faith. Almost Heaven Outfitters is a truely unique blend of challenging big buck hunting in a unique setting with a great group of hunters.
