Kenny said , One should notice, that although he looks big, the camera does not do the bucks justice. When he was gotten by Al Perelli, he was much larger in real life. Keep that in mind when you look at the trail cam photos What do our past customers say?<< PREV - NEXT >>![]() 3/26/2010 Frank Kovash Frank Kovash says: 'Hi, I am Frank Kovash. I work with David Poerio and after discussing Almost Heaven Outfitters, L.L.C. lease on several occasions I decided to put well guarded money down on a Lease Guest Permit. The cost of which was less than a fine hunting bow with out anything on it. Most leases and outfitters charge more just to join and a trophy fee. Bag a 150 class or better buck with some of theses places and you will probably be taking out a loan for several thousand dollars. You will also probably find yourself fenced in like a dog too. I am like most guys, I have a real nice bow and a 2 cent place to hunt with it. Come to think of it, if a hunter was smart, it would be the other way around. But I have changed that when I joined Almost Heaven Outfitters lease this past January 2010. In March I went to the West Virginia lease, with Dave and his friend Rick Peace for my Orientation. What I found was a Whitetail Hunting Paradise for Archery Hunters. THE PLACE IS SO BIG THAT IT WOULD TAKE A HUNTER A LIFE TIME TO HUNT IT ALL. Too bad I am 46 and have used up 34 precious archery hunting years. Dave and Rick spent the entire day with me scouting for good area locations and orientating me to the lease. I consider myself a well seasoned archery hunter who has achieved killing bucks at will. As Dave generously spent his time with me combing the lease and scrutinizing over every bit of deer sign, I realized his knowledge far exceeded mine and that I was in the presence of an Elite Archery Hunter. I realized why this man bags trophy bucks and I shoot average bucks or go without, when I insist on bagging The Bull of the Woods. Dave invested much effort and time that day climbing hills and fighting brush to teach me what I need to know to be successful on the lease and elsewhere. He will do that for you too because he wants you to be successful. He has even been know to sacrifice his personal scouting and hunting time that he has sat aside for himself to help a guest be successful. He has also been known to give his favorite areas to some of the guest. Dave knows this land inside and out, and is a passionate archery hunter himself. He has put together and managed this lease for many years under his control. Lord willing, Dave will keep this lease running for many more, no questions asked. So you do not have to worry, this is not a fly by night operation. He will teach you things you need to know to be a successful archery hunter. What he will teach you is, TO STOP AND SMELL THE ROSES, so to speak and to see what the deer sign really tells you about the deer that made it. How big or small it is, the approximate size of its rack, etc. He will tell you, I LISTEN TO WHAT THE BUCK ARE SAYING TO ME! And after Dave is done you will be at the beginning of where you need to be to achieve archery hunting success. Trust me, it is a good feeling. It is what I call a SLICE OF LIFE. One of the greater plusses of joining the lease is you will find you are in the company of Top of the Line Folks. They too are very friendly and helpful. Most importantly I immediately sensed their duty, alliance and friendship towards each other. A FAMILY if you will, that sticks together. You will not be alone. Listen to what they have to offer as well. Be prepared to be there for them because they will be there for you. I know I certainly enjoyed their company immensely. Although I could go on about all the pluses of this lease and joining it, another good feature you will find are sturdy well maintained roads that are safe and handy to traverse to your stand location at zero dark thirty in the morning and back after shooting hours in the evening. Well, Good Luck and may the Good Lord Bless You to Join Us Frank Kovash ' Visit friends of Almost Heaven Outfitters, LLC
